A Broken Backpack

✨ Life Update ✨

After spending a week in Tallinn, we finally moved to Prague. Time is flying by. It has been a week already. 😳

I'm trying to understand European weather. During the big heatwave in Estonia, I was suffocating. Then, I went shopping for a jacket when the temperature dropped to 14 degrees. In Prague, well... it has been quite rainy. ☔️ I feel like I skipped the summer or something. 😅

Anyway, to be honest, I've been struggling to adapt. This didn't happen to me for a while, but it seems like it's harder than I expected here. This could be explained by two things:
👉 After living in Asia for almost two years, I guess I got used to the way things were there.
👉 I may be a bit rusty with the "moving somewhere new part".

It's not really that it's hard, but I don't speak Czech and I don't have a community here - which makes it challenging.

What are your top tips when moving to a new country?! 🙃

When i first left the country on my own i went to study in Thailand, and loved it. Afterwards i went to study in prague for 4x as long and REALLY REALLY struggled with the difference in culture. Its like the exact OPPOSITE culture and i wanted to go back to asia so badly. It wasnt until much later that i came to appreciate prague and realize i toon it for granted!

Hey Mel, struggle with the same. Returned to Prague after many years abroad but nothing is the same it used to be. I would be happy to meet up with you once I am back from my next adventure. Also, I speak Czech, should you need some help, just shoot me a message.

Miss you, wish we were together! 😘👯 Xx

Wow Mel felicitations!! J’adore te suivre 😍 et tes péripéties bisou xox

Le meilleur conseil selon moi c’est d’être bien accompagné!

European weather is the craziest! I’ll never understand how it can be raining & sunny at the same time! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

I just got back from Prague, I could definitely live there! You're gonna like it.

I forgot you're here too! I'm in Czechia until the end of the month. Let's get together for a beer sometime?

GIRL! who's WE? did I miss something?

Nice
